//// Instructions for The Knitted Pullover Shown here
Pullover, V neck, child size 8=(M)
#4 yarn (4 skeins= 202 yards each)
I used Yarn Bee “I Love This Yarn” Blush.
Size 9 US needles
k2tog=knit 2 stitches together
ssk= slide 2 stitches, one at a time, to right needle, put left
needle in front of the stitches and knit them through
kf&b=knit the front and the back of the stitch.
rs=right side of work
ws=wrong side of work
Repeat from * to *
This is a size 8 sweater.
Gauge: 19 stitches = 4” (or 10 cms.)
Please adjust the number of stitches according to size.
Stitches used: 2x2 ribbing and Straight Stitch.
Cast on 65 stitches. Make ribbing: for 8 rows.
Rs: *k2,p2*end with k1.
Ws: p1 *k2, p2*
Change to Straight Stitch: Knit right side, Purl wrong side.
Work Straight Stitch on 65 stitches, 58 rows.
Start taking off for armhole:
Bind off 2 stitches at the beginning of next 2 rows.
RS.- k2, k2tog, knit stitch to 4 sts. left. ssk, k2, 6 times.
You end up having 49 stitches
Continue Straight stitch for 44 more rows.
Now you have 8 rows of ribbing and 108
from ribbing to bind off.
Bind off on right side of work.
Cast on 65 stitches.
Make 2x2 ribbing(*k2, p2*) Start with k2, end with k1.
for 8 rows.
Work Straight Stitch on 65 stitches.
Same as back.
Make armholes the same way as in the back
but on the 9th row, from where you took the first 2 off,
you mark the center stitch for the V neck.
*Please see chart.
This means you’ll be taking off for the armhole at the same time as for the neck.
Knit to 2 stitches before the middle stitch, knit these 2 together, attach a pin or piece of yarn to the middle stitch and take it off the needle. With another ball of yarn, ssk, and knit to end of row.
ws- purl each side.
Please follow chart and watch video to know when to
take off on neck.
Sleve (Make 2)
Cast on 34 stitches.
Make ribbing 2x2: *k2, p2* end with k1, for 8 rows
Start Straight Stitch.
Add stitches on rows 1,5,9,13,17,21,25,29,33,37,41,45,49, 53,and 57.
You now have 64 stitches in total.
Bind off 2 stitches on each side at the beginning of the next 2 rows.
RS: k2, k2tog, knit to last 4: ssk, k2
Work these 2 rows, 6 times=48 stitches
